East Hill Radio is back on the air after a short but desperately needed vacation! We'll be posting some pictures soon.
Well, I knew we were living on borrowed time with our operation on 1650, the only clear frequency in the upper part of the AM radio band. While we were on vacation, the City of Snoqualmie signed their city station on the air. So, we've moved to 1630 kHz. This is a temporary move, though. We're going to do a frequency search to find a new AM home.
Our life on the AM band will most likely be short as we're planning a move to FM. Look out as Washington's 101 comes soon to a radio near you. Watch this space for more information.
Welcome to our home on the World-Wide Web! East Hill Radio is Snoqualmie's community radio station. We are the Valley's oldies station, playing the hits from the 50's thru the 90's. Also, we are working on more local programming to better serve our neighbors in the Snoqualmie Valley. And we're Mt. Vernon's home of Solid Gold and classic rock.
Our Snoqualmie coverage is currently about a 1/2 mile radius, and we're working to improve our signal. 4KHJ provides coverage to Mt. Vernon, WA, on 101.9 mhz.
